Long Kurti Makes A Style Statement

Long Kurti Makes A Style Statement
Long Kurtis are highly in demand for their style and designing. They not only look attractive but are also the most comfortable choice of clothing for varying weather conditions. Traditionally women, especially Islamic and Indian women, used to wear clothes that covered their full body. However, the growing awareness of fashion and the urge to appear trendy have made even the most modest woman look for attractively designed clothes. Fashion designers from across the world have responded to this need by designing clothes that are modest, yet look smart and fashionable enough to be worn on any occasion. The age old kameez has been modified to make Long Kurtis, currently a rage and highly in demand with the fashion conscious women of today. Kurtis are traditionally full sleeved shirts resembling a kameez.

However, these kurtis are available as individual clothing items and not accompanied by a Salwar or a Dupatta. These Kurtis can be worn with jeans, salwars, pyjamis or slacks.

Generally made of cotton, Long Kurtis can also be made of other fabrics, such as georgette, silk or any other material, depending on the purpose or the occasion for which it is required. Formal Kurtis are generally made of silk or georgette, and decorated with beautiful sequins, beads or lace. Casual Kurtis are generally made of cotton, which is easy to wash and maintain.

Every woman has her own style and wishes to wear clothes that suit her requirements. Long Kurtis have become exceedingly popular because they resemble the traditional and modest clothing form of the Kameez and Kurta. Kurtis are available in different designs with varied types of collars and shapes. Varied prints and embroidery add to the beauty of these Kurtis.

Kurtis that are in-line with the traditional and contemporary designs are highly popular amongst women of all age groups and can be worn for any occasion, be it a festival, a celebration or an informal meeting. These Long Kurtis, when accompanied by matching scarves, look quite attractive and stylish, and thus are much in demand even for office wear.
